Job summary

NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Operations support specialist in the Philippines. You will review incoming files, complete order-outs, and support teammates so they can focus on core responsibilities.

Must have mortgage experience; Encompass experience is a plus. You will calculate income for wage earners, run DU/LP, and arrange appraisals as needed, while maintaining file trackers and ensuring timely funding.

Qualifications

• Mortgage industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Track Lead Notes received from LO (Loan Officer).
• Monitor incoming “App Submitted” emails, and set up Encompass files to align with LO Lead Notes.
• Complete “File Set-up” review when App & Docs are received from the client; includes ordering credit, organizing docs in Encompass, correcting obvious errors on the client app.
• Ability to calculate income for Wage Earners and SE borrowers.
• Run DU/LP and Order appraisals when needed (if no PIW/ACE).
• Send client needs list after initial file review.
• Send client needs list after Preapproval team review.
• Obtain EOI, VOE’s, and HOA docs when requested.
• Ensure EOI and other documents are correct at funding to avoid delays.
• Maintain a tracker of all files and outstanding items.

Description

MUST HAVE MORTGAGE EXPERIENCE

You will review incoming files, complete order-outs, and be an all-around supportive team member to ensure that other teammates are able to focus effectively on their primary responsibilities. Encompass experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Track Lead Notes received from LO (Loan Officer)
• Monitor incoming “App Submitted” emails, and set up the Encompass files to align with LO Lead Notes
• Complete “File Set-up” review when App & Docs are received from the client. Includes ordering credit, organizing docs in Encompass, correcting obvious errors on the client app, etc
• Ability to calculate income for Wage Earners and SE borrowers
• Run DU/LP and Order appraisals when needed (if no PIW/ACE)
• Send client needs list after initial file review
• Send client needs list after the Preapproval team completes their review
• Obtain correct EOI, VOE’s, and HOA docs when requested from LOA/Processor
• Ensure that EOI and other documents are correct at the time of funding to avoid funding delays
• Maintain a tracker of all files on their desk, including what is outstanding on each file, to ensure that no file slips through the cracks.
