NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. seeks a Loan Closer to prepare mortgage closing documents and ensure accuracy across all closing data.

You will work with internal staff and settlement agents to resolve issues in a timely manner and ensure compliance with closing procedures. The role requires experience with US mortgage closings, knowledge of investor policies, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with office applications.

Qualifications

• 3 years mortgage document experience in preparing US mortgage loan closing documents, preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple investors closing policies and procedures; RESPA, TILA and related laws preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Encompass experience, preferred.
• Familiar with using office applications.
• Proficient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• The Loan Closer is responsible for the preparation of mortgage closing documents.
• Ensure all essential information is accurate while communicating with internal staff and settlement agents to resolve closing issues promptly.
• Understand and follow all closing procedures to comply with Federal and State requirements.
• Check accuracy for all essential information provided at submission for closing.
• Communicate with loan officer, processing, and underwriting staff.
• Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, prepaid interest, etc.
• Produce and organize all closing documents and disclosures for conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
