NightOwl Consulting in the Philippines is seeking a US Mortgage Closer to prepare mortgage closing documents and ensure accuracy while coordinating with staff and settlement agents to resolve closing issues. The role requires 3 years of mortgage document experience, knowledge of RESPA/TILA, and proficiency in MS Office; Encompass experience is preferred, enabling precise, timely closings.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing US mortgage loan closing documents.
• Familiar with RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, Flood and State laws.
• Proficient in MS Office and Encompass.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mortgage closing documents and disclosures.
• Ensure all closing information is accurate and timely.
• Follow closing procedures to comply with Federal and State requirements.
• Check accuracy of information at submission for closing.
• Communicate with loan officer, processing, and underwriting staff.
• Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, prepaid interest, etc.
• Produce and organize closing documents for conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
