Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) keeps expanding and would like to bring aboard talented Bookkeepers and Accounting Professionals who have handled accounts for clients in various countries. In essence, the job comes down to keeping the books accurate, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and completing each monthly close, all while collaborating closely with clients and your teammates.
We'd be glad to hear from accountants who are self-motivated and able to operate independently, place real importance on cultivating strong, long-term relationships with clients abroad, and feel comfortable with a schedule that overlaps North American time zones.
You'll be in charge of the daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks — payables, receivables, journal entries, and accruals. This includes reconciling bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts and taking the month-end close through to completion. You'll create financial statements like the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow report, keep records accurate and well kept, and review any discrepancies that emerge. As circumstances require, you'll support payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow reporting, and keep close checklists and schedules current. Reliable, clear communication with clients and colleagues runs through every part of the role.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus three or more years of accounting or bookkeeping experience supporting clients abroad. Dependable, hands-on QuickBooks Online skills are essential, along with excellent written and spoken English and direct experience working with clients or stakeholders. This role suits someone detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to keep several deadlines moving simultaneously. Experience with Xero, Bill.com, Excel, or Google Workspace is a valued plus. Both CPA and non-CPA candidates are warmly encouraged to apply.
A monthly rate that corresponds to your experience and a fully home-based role.
On top of that, you'll gain valuable experience with accounting firms and clients abroad, supported by structured onboarding, continued guidance, and real opportunities to progress.
