Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a growing finance team supporting US-based clients. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial reports, and maintain accurate records using cloud accounting tools in a fully remote role based in Metro Manila.

The position requires 3+ years of accounting experience, familiarity with QuickBooks/Xero/NetSuite/Sage, and strong analytical and communication skills. CPA/CMA/CA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or Financial Analyst.
• CPA, CMA, CA or other relevant accounting certification is preferred.
• Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with business tax preparation and 1099 filing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure timely financial reporting.

• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Interpret financial data and identify accounting issues or improvement opportunities.
