We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to support our financial team. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to managing financial records.

Responsibilities

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Invoice Management: Process invoices, verify payments, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management and regulatory compliance.
• Tax Compliance: Support tax filings and assist with year-end closing processes.
• Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Audit Preparation: Help prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial processes and transactions comply with company policies and relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel), financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
