Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant with experience supporting US-based businesses. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of US GAAP, hands-on QuickBooks experience, and the ability to manage accounting processes from start to finish.

This is a client-facing role, so strong English communication skills are essential. The candidate must be comfortable leading conversations and interacting directly with business owners, CEOs, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.


• Manage accrual-based accounting, journal entries, and month-end closing.


• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports.


• Apply US GAAP principles in recording and reporting financial transactions.


• Manage accounting processes from start to finish with minimal supervision.


• Communicate directly with US clients and provide updates on accounting matters.


• Lead client discussions and explain financial information clearly.


• Proactively identify and resolve accounting issues.


• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.


• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.


• Good knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting.


• Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes.


• Previous experience supporting US-based clients or businesses.


• Client-facing experience; confident and comfortable interacting directly with clients and handling client inquiries professionally.
