Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) seeks an experienced Accountant for remote international client accounts. The role covers full-cycle accounting, reporting, and client advisory work with North American-aligned night hours.

You'll manage AP/AR, journals, month-end close, payroll, and variance analysis for diverse abroad clients, ensuring audit-ready records and accuracy while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least three years serving clients abroad in accounting or bookkeeping.
• QuickBooks Online proficiency required; experience with Xero/Bill.com is a plus.
• CPA and non-CPA welcome; strong English and client-facing skills.
• Ownership mindset: organized, deadline-driven, multi-client handling.
• Comfortable working a night shift aligned with North American hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for international clients: AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, month-end close.
• Prepare timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with variance analysis.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Run payroll accurately with proper approvals and deductions.
• Standardize checklists, SOPs, and close calendars; pursue automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients abroad; translate financials into plain English.
• Keep documentation audit-ready and records organized.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with teammates and clients abroad — join calls, translate financials into plain English, and flag risks and opportunities. Keep documentation audit-ready and records clean and organized.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience serving clients abroad (public practice or industry). QuickBooks Online proficiency is required; experience with Xero, Bill.com, or Google Workspace/Excel is a plus. Both CPA and non-CPA professionals are welcome. Strong written and spoken English and client-facing experience are essential. We value an ownership mindset: organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage several clients without sacrificing accuracy. You should be comfortable working a night shift that aligns with North American business hours.

Nice to have: a tech-curious, automation-minded approach (workflow rules, integrations, reporting tools) and experience across diverse industries or multi-entity accounting.
