Job summary

Qualifications

• One year previous nursing experience.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of orientation.
• Completion of an approved pharmacology course.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and observe, assess, guide and evaluate others.
• Ability to collect data, interpret findings, set priorities and carry out the plan.
• Ability to read, calculate, and prepare medications, and observe reactions.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, under the direction of a physician, in a warm and friendly manner.
• Accurately takes and records measurements or readings.
• Administers prescribed medications.
• Works collaboratively with other caregivers in the office.
• Performs practice based procedures.
• Scribes for physicians and/or advanced practice providers.
