The Training and Development Manager is responsible for leading the organization's Learning and Development (L&D) function by designing, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving learning initiatives that enhance employee capability and organizational performance. The role oversees the complete training lifecycle using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional design model, ensuring that all learning interventions are competency-based, learner-centered, measurable, and aligned with business objectives. The incumbent serves as the organization's subject matter expert in instructional design, adult learning methodologies, leadership development, sales capability building, compliance learning, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
Develop and execute the organization's annual Learning and Development strategy aligned with business goals
Conduct organization-wide Training Needs Analysis (TNA) using competency assessments, performance data, stakeholder interviews, and business requirements
Lead the complete instructional design process using the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)
Develop facilitator guides, learner manuals, workbooks, presentations, assessments, simulations, job aids, videos, e-learning modules, and evaluation tools
Design and deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs
Manage LMS implementation, configuration, maintenance, and user support
Design competency-based leadership development frameworks and succession programs
Develop and implement learning programs that improve sales performance
Lead, coach, and mentor Training Officers, Learning Specialists, and Facilitators
Partner with business leaders to identify capability requirements and build strong stakeholder relationships
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of continuous experience in Learning and Development, Training, Organizational Development, or Talent Development
At least five (5) years of proven leadership and/or individual contributor experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating corporate learning programs
Extensive hands-on experience managing the end-to-end training process using the ADDIE Model
Proven experience in competency-based training and instructional design
Demonstrated experience in developing training modules from concept through deployment
Proven track record in conducting and facilitating high-level trainings
Experience in Learning Management System implementation, administration, or management
Experience in digital learning, blended learning, and e-learning development is highly preferred
Experience in hospitality, retail, service, or sales-driven industry is an advantage
