Job summary

YTO EXPRESS (PHILIPPINES) TECHNOLOGY GROUP CORPORATION is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead unloading operations for bulky parcels at the hub or sortation center. You will assign crews, monitor throughput, and coordinate with inbound, sorting, and warehouse teams to ensure safe, efficient unloading of large shipments.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics or warehouse operations, familiarity with scanning and WMS, and strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, sortation, unloading, or delivery operations.
• Experience handling bulky, oversized, or heavy shipments is preferred.
• Experience supervising warehouse, unloading, or material-handling personnel is an advantage.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, parcel handling, loading/unloading procedures, and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with scanning systems, warehouse management systems, manifests, and shipment tracking procedures.
• Knowledge of proper manual handling and workplace safety practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse or sortation environment and manage multiple operational concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily unloading activities for bulky, oversized, and heavy parcels at the hub, warehouse, or sortation center.
• Assign unloading personnel to designated vehicles, unloading bays, and operational areas based on shipment volume and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate with the Inbound, Sorting, Warehouse, Loading, and Operations Teams regarding incoming vehicles and bulky shipment volumes.
• Monitor the arrival of trucks, vans, containers, and other vehicles carrying bulky shipments and ensure timely unloading.
• Ensure bulky parcels are unloaded using appropriate handling techniques, equipment, and manpower to prevent injury and parcel damage.
• Verify parcel quantities, shipment information, and unloading records against manifests, scanning records, trip sheets, or other operational documents.
• Ensure bulky parcels are properly scanned, identified, sorted, and staged according to their designated destination or next operational process.
• Monitor the condition of bulky parcels during unloading and immediately report damaged, opened, or compromised shipments.
• Conduct regular inspections of unloading areas to ensure proper housekeeping, accessibility, and safe working conditions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering unloading volume, manpower productivity, turnaround time, damages, discrepancies, and other operational concerns.

About the role
