Job summary

Ying Global is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for our UK residential tenancy and serviced accommodation portfolio. The role centers on Xero bank reconciliation, accurate property-level income/expense allocation, and maintaining complete records.

Qualifications

• Experience with Xero bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Drive.
• Ability to manage detailed transaction trackers accurately.
• Proactive follow-up to obtain missing invoices and documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Willingness to work a permanent night shift aligned with UK hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation in Xero across rent, supplier payments, bills, invoices, and contractor payments.
• Allocate income/expenses by property, landlord, tenant, month, and cost category.
• Maintain a property-level bill tracker for rents, utilities, charges, and subscriptions.
• Ensure all property-related bills are tracked across the portfolio.
• Prepare monthly landlord statements and end-of-tenancy statements.
• Process monthly payroll for cleaning team and Philippines-based staff.
• Upload and file supporting documents to keep records complete and reconciled.
• Use Arthur Online to check rent payments, arrears, and tenancy notes.
• Review bank records and trackers to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Flag missing invoices or discrepancies to management promptly.
