Job summary

Deployed Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to support our finance team across UK and NL entities. You will handle daily bank reconciliations in Xero, process invoices, manage ledgers, and ensure VAT compliance in accordance with UK/EU guidelines.

You will collaborate with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records, support timely invoicing, and monitor outstanding balances in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

Accounting/finance administration experience.
Experience with reconciliations and ledgers.
Familiarity with VAT rules (UK/EU).
Experience with multi-entity UK & NL processes.

Responsibilities

Carry out bank reconciliations for UK and NL entities in Xero.
Post purchase invoices with correct coding and tax treatment.
Input and process sales invoices and maintain customer records.
Reconcile customer and supplier payments against invoices.
Verify VAT treatment on invoices per UK/EU guidelines.
Investigate discrepancies in invoices, payments, and bank transactions.
Maintain accounting documentation and provide finance support as directed by the Finance Director.
Monitor aged debt and credit control.
