The role focuses on timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and cross-functional communication to minimize charges and delays. The ideal candidate holds a licensed customs broker credential, a relevant degree, and 1–2 years of experience handling customs and trucking coordination.
Review and sign customs documents as authorized by the company.
Ensure documents are complete and properly endorsed prior to submission.
Maintain organized records of signed customs documents.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding documentation requirements.
Coordinate with trucking partners and clients for scheduling, dispatch, and container returning.
Ensure timely deliveries within free time to avoid demurrage, detention, or storage charges
Arrange and monitor trucking schedules from port to warehouse.
Coordinate with trucking providers for pickup, delivery, and dispatch timing.
Communicate delivery schedules and updates to warehouse personnel.
Ensure smooth handover of shipments from transport to warehouse operations.
Monitor delivery status and report delays or issues.
Coordinate arrival schedules with warehouse teams for receiving.
Ensure proper documentation is provided for receiving and release of cargo.
Assist in resolving delivery or unloading concerns when needed.
Provide real-time shipment and delivery updates through WeChat or other designated communication channels.
Send status updates on dispatch, arrival, delays, and completion of deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of updates and communications for monitoring and tracking.
Maintain records of deliveries and transport coordination.
Provide status updates to management regarding shipments and deliveries.
Ensure proper filing of documents related to customs and transport.
Handle truck bookings and support truckers with pre-advise emails for empty returns;
Follow up DR and ElR with truckers after deliveries and empty containerreturned.
Send regular reports on pulled-out containers and remaininggatepasses.
Report incidental charges.
Seek reliable truckers for containerized and empty flatrack returns;
Plan trucking trips and optimize routing for cost-effective deliveries;
Bachelor's degree in customs administration, logistics, or related field (preferred).
Must be a licensed customs broker.
At least 1-2 years of experience in customs documentation and trucking coordination.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage schedules and coordinate with multiple parties.
