Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Treasury Finance Manager/Lead for its NBFC division in Mumbai. The role focuses on end-to-end treasury functions, debt raising, liquidity management, and working capital optimization to support scalable growth.

You will lead debt initiatives, evaluate lenders, negotiate terms, and ensure regulatory compliance while strengthening treasury MIS and lender relationships. A strong background in NBFC finance and RBI norms is essential.

Qualifications

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred.
• 6 – 10 years of relevant experience in treasury, debt raising, or corporate finance.
• NBFC / Financial Services / Agri-finance / Structured Finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of debt instruments, working capital structures, RBI regulations, and lender negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead debt raising initiatives including term loans, working capital loans, structured debt, and refinancing opportunities.
• Evaluate and onboard lenders (banks, NBFCs, FIIs, AIFs, DFIs) with a clear debt POV aligned to business needs.
• Negotiate pricing, covenants, security structures, and documentation for all borrowing arrangements.
• Support long-term capital planning and optimize cost of funds for the NBFC.
• Structure and manage fund-based limits (CC/WCDL/OD) to support operating requirements.
• Monitor utilization, renewals, enhancements, and covenant compliance across all limits.
• Familiar with Direct Assignment, PTC, Securitisation and ARC transactions.
• Oversee daily treasury operations including cash positioning, fund flows, and bank account management.
