Job summary

The Corporate Institute, a publicly listed NBFC, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Mumbai. This high-ownership role partners with leadership, auditors and partners to drive financial reporting, controllership and regulatory compliance across a growing digital lending business.

You will lead finance operations, manage a team of accountants, and work with product, risk and technology teams to deliver timely and accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Broad finance exposure across multiple areas is valued.
• Experience in NBFC, fintech, lending or financial services preferred.
• Capability- and experience-driven hiring approach; CA not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance operations including accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, controllership and compliance.
• Prepare MIS, management summaries, and board inputs; support quarterly and annual reporting.
• Review entries, reconciliations, and MIS prepared by the team; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, SEBI, GST, TDS and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor costs vs budgets and provide actionable financial insights.
• Mentor junior accountants and finance team members; drive process improvements.
