Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our organization as the Chief Manager-Group Treasury.

About the Organization:

It is an integrated agri-business ecosystem dedicated to making agricultural value chains work more efficiently for smallholder farmers. Spanning 28 states, the Group connects over 30,000 FPOs, 4,000 agri-enterprises, and 10 million farmers through an integrated flow of commodities, capital, and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive fundraising initiatives through Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Debt Investors.
  • Manage end-to-end debt raising transactions, including due diligence, documentation, sanction, and disbursement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and rating agencies.
  • Monitor liquidity position, cash flow forecasts, and treasury operations.
  • Manage borrowing portfolio and optimize cost of funds.
  • Evaluate funding options including Term Loans, NCDs, CPs, and other debt instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with lender covenants, RBI regulations, and internal policies.
  • Track market developments and support funding strategy decisions.
Funding Strategy:
  • Evaluate emerging financing options, including sustainability-linked finance, blended finance, guarantee-backed structures and co-lending opportunities.
  • Recommend innovative financing structures to improve liquidity, diversify funding sources and enhance financial resilience.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on capital planning and liability management.
Governance & Risk:
  • Ensure compliance with all financing agreements, lender covenants and regulatory requirements.
  • Diversify the liability mix to optimize cost of funds, tenor profile and concentration risk.
  • Identify funding and refinancing risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Present funding updates, lender pipeline and key risks to senior management and Board Committees.
Additional Candidate Profile:
  • Strong network across Banks, DFIs, NBFCs, Mutual Funds and institutional investors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading negotiations for complex financing transactions.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
Desired Profile:
  • CA / MBA (Finance)
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in Treasury, Fund Raising, Corporate Finance, Liability Management, or Banking Relations.
  • Experience in NBFCs, Banks, HFCs, or Financial Services preferred.
