Job summary

Landers in the Philippines seeks a meticulous Treasury Clerk to handle sales collections, issue receipts, and perform daily cash reconciliation. You will safeguard vault funds, manage petty cash, and coordinate with banks for deposits, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all cash transactions.

The role requires a finance or accounting degree, openness to a 1:00 PM–10:00 PM closing shift, and reliability to support retail operations. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Commerce or equivalent.

• Knowledge of counterfeit detection and basic banking transactions.

• Must be of good moral character and integrity.
• Willing to work closing schedule: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Flexible to be scheduled in support of retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue change funds of the cashiers
• Ensure availability of funds that will be sufficient for the office and store operations
• Accept cash collections from cashiers and verify deposit with the bank
• Accept payment from scrapper, employees and others and issue corresponding acknowledge or official receipts and sales invoice, if necessary
• Perform daily cash reconciliation of funds
• Ensure that petty cash funds in custody are properly and safely kept and well managed
• Check, verify and reconcile the deposits and bank payments
• Handle payment and replenishment of petty cash fund
• Conduct collection of sales and verify deposits with the bank
• Issue and monitor membership cards released

About the role

Handle sales collections and prepare corresponding reports subject for review and endorsement of Treasury Supervisor to ALC Manager. Responsible for the security of the vault fund, sales collections and other valuable items.

Key responsibilities
