Job summary

The SM Store (SM Mart Inc.) in Metro Manila is seeking a Finance Support Associate to assist with sales and bills payments, forex sales, remittances, and store transactions.

You will prepare cash boxes, safeguard petty cash and receipts, count and reconcile cash and checks, and ensure AML/BSP compliance while addressing customer questions. This role supports Treasury and Store operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any business-related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance or related industry.
• Familiarity with AML/BSP regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, count and release cash boxes to Counter and Customer Service personnel.
• Act as custodian of petty cash, OR/AR, and items left by customers and employees.
• Receive, count, consolidate cash and checks and endorse to Treasury Supervisor.
• Conduct regular inventory of Customer Service Products with Treasury Supervisor/Manager.

Job Function: Responsible in providing support in sales and bills payment collections, customer service product, Foreign Exchange (forex) sales, remittances and transactions at the store

Responsibilities

• Prepare, count and release cash boxes to Counter and Customer Service personnel.
• Act as custodian of Petty Cash Fund, Official Receipt (OR) / Acknowledgment Receipt (AR), Items Left by Customer (ILC) and Employees.
• Receive, count, consolidate cash and check collections and endorse to Treasury Supervisor.
• Conduct regular inventory of Customer Service Products with Treasury Supervisor/Manager in coordination with Branch Accounting.
• Implement compliance to Anti-Money Laundering Law and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Regulations
• Check currency authenticity and remittance information accuracy before processing the transaction
• Validate customer details versus document presented before processing
• Attend to customer queries and elevate concerns if needed
