Cleanfuel is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Treasury Assistant who will be responsible for the daily validation and reconciliation of cash sales and receipts from assigned gasoline stations.
The role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash-related transactions and financial records. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations, Financial Audit, Treasury, and other concerned teams to ensure that daily cash sales are properly validated, discrepancies are identified, and shortages are appropriately monitored and followed up.
Validate and reconcile daily cash sales and receipts from assigned gasoline stations.
Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of daily cash sales validation.
Record bank debit and credit memos, shortages, overages, and other necessary adjustments.
Monitor cash shortages and coordinate with concerned personnel regarding collection and settlement.
Prepare and maintain accurate sales monitoring and shortage monitoring reports.
Review cash transactions and supporting documents to identify discrepancies and unusual transactions.
Coordinate with the Operations Team to clarify and reconcile cash-related discrepancies.
Report shortages, possible fraudulent transactions, and other unusual or irregular transactions involving station sales.
Maintain complete and accurate records of daily cash validations and related transactions.
Work closely with the Treasury, Operations, Financial Audit, and Team Leader in resolving cash-related concerns.
Ensure that assigned cash validation tasks are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferably with experience in Treasury, Cashiering, Accounting, Cash Management, or a related function.
Experience in cash reconciliation, cash validation, or handling daily sales and collection records is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Organized, reliable, and able to handle daily and time-sensitive tasks.
Ability to identify discrepancies and unusual transactions.
Experience in the fuel, retail, or similar industry is an advantage.
