Job summary

evoke is seeking a Treasury Analyst in a hybrid role to manage cash across multiple bank accounts and coordinate payments and remittances from various locations.

You will support the Treasurer in aligning financial strategy with business goals, ensuring effective risk management and cost control. Strong English communication and treasury experience with UK/EU transactions are essential.

Job description

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the cash management of the various bank accounts of the business. The role requires coordination of the requests from various locations for payments and remittances.

The Treasurer’s role is to ensure that there is a direct relationship between the financial and business strategy. This means the Treasury team is involved in the strategic decision-making process and recommends how best to manage the financial risk in the strategy.

What you will be doing:

• Working closely with the Treasury Operations Manager to improve the service provided by Treasury
• Managing and optimising the operating costs of Treasury, ensuring value-for-money and cost effective risk reduction
• Administer and monitor the Group Treasury generic mailbox ensuring all queries are managed within the designated SLAs
• Liaise with banks re. returned funds/payments
• Receive, check and log third-party trade confirmations
• On a daily basis ensure all tasks on the daily checklist are carried out across the team and own the updating of the checklist
• Ensuring not only daily tasks are achieved, but also weekly, periodic and half/full year tasks are completed
• Assist the Treasury Operation Manager with the weekly Treasury Operations dashboard, this includes the daily maintenance of the payments log, which drive the Treasury reporting
• Administer support/evidence requested from the Group’s insurers, organising site assessment visits and co-ordinating settlement of insurance claims
• Ensure all processes and procedures are clearly documented and regularly

Who we are looking for:

• 5 years + experience in the handling UK and EU based treasury related transactions and handling various payment methods (Internal and External Hire)
• Graduate of any business-related course, treasury or banking related course preferably
• CPA qualified is an advantage
• Preparation of treasury and management information reports
• In-depth understanding of bank statements and accounting treatments
• Project management experience in consolidation and system/process migration/improvements
• Knowledgeable in any accounting / treasury software is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
