Job summary

evoke is seeking a P2P Tower Lead within its Shared Service Centre to oversee the procure-to-pay process and lead a team of P2P specialists. The role focuses on SLAs, process improvements, and strong collaboration with Finance leadership and suppliers for issue resolution and continuous improvement.

You will drive internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide coaching to ensure high-performance execution across the P2P function.

Qualifications

• CPA is required and CPA equivalent credentials preferred.
• 5+ years in a SSC or BPO setting; audit firm experience is an advantage.
• 7+ years in supervisory or managerial accounting roles.
• PM experience in consolidation and system/process migrations/improvements.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (JDE, ServiceNow, Oracle).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team performance to SLAs and objectives; monitor projects and process improvements.
• Guide SSC team on transactional concerns and corrective actions when targets are missed.
• Manage internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial reports; oversee audits and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and assess managers and team members; conduct regular 1:1s and development planning.

Job description

As the P2P Tower Lead in our Shared Service Centre, you will play an important role in overseeing and managing the entire procure-to-pay process. As the P2P Global Process owner, you will lead a team of P2P specialists, ensure efficient procurement operations, and foster collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as senior Finance leadership, operational management and procurement, and key external stakeholders, principally suppliers when disputes are escalated. Your expertise in P2P processes, leadership skills, and commitment to process improvement will contribute to the success of our finance function.

What you will be doing:

Oversight of team performance to SLA’s and/or other objectives

• Monitoring of SLA’s. projects, process improvements and tasks assigned to the team
• Provide guidance to the SSC team to ensure transactional concerns are properly dealt with
• Analyze and develop corrective action plans when objectives are not met
• Manage internal controls to adhere with the company policies and requirements

Ensure delivery of financial reports, oversee regulatory compliance, and manage recurring audit

• Ensure timely reviews of the real accounts of companies assigned to the team and closure of outstanding reconciling
• Manage external and internal audits as required by the management
• Manage regulatory compliance of assigned companies with collaboration with the Group Tax
• Close coordination with the Centre of Excellence group to ensure delivery of period end closing and reports

Provide guidance and assessment of team managers or colleagues

• Regular assessments or appraisal of the team managers or members performance
• Meets with direct reports on a weekly basis to discuss performance and provide coaching on areas of opportunity or success (1:1s)
• Ensure understanding of the expected behaviors and act as a role model to others

Collaborate with various teams and business leaders

• Act as the key point of escalation for issues/concerns of the business leaders
• Work to achieve a balanced resolution on identified concerns and company policies and government compliance
• Design and implementation, if necessary, of business continuity plans
• Pro-active communication on planned initiatives with the stakeholders

Hiring and Training/Development

• Maintain staffing levels; recruits, select and hire colleagues to maintain a high-performance culture
• Set strategies for associated training/development

Who we are looking for:

• Certified Public Accountant
• 5+ years in a Shared Service or BPO Industry; experience in an Audit Firm is an advantage.
• 7+ years in Supervisory or Managerial role overseeing accounting operations
• Project Management experience in consolidation and system / process migration / improvements
• Knowledgeable in using JDE, Service Now, Oracle or other accounting software
• With excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
