PAPH TRAVEL AND TOURS in Quezon City is seeking a Tour Package Reservation Officer to manage relationships with tour operators, secure inventory, confirm reservations, and tailor quotations for client requests.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving skills, with onsite work six days a week at 61 C Roosevelt Ave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Tourism Management or related field.
• 1-2 years experience in travel agency or airline reservations is an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills with ability to cope with pressure at busy times.
• Very attentive to detail with excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent computer and typing skills; Excel and Word proficiency desired.
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tour operators to secure inventory for travel packages and ensure availability.
• Negotiate competitive rates and terms to align with budget and profitability.
• Ensure hotel reservations and other land arrangements are secured well in advance.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with agreed rates and terms.
• Provide customized quotations based on specific client requests.
• Seek approval from higher management before adding new tour packages to inventory.
• Develop innovative and saleable travel packages and itineraries.
• Monitor and report on inventory of tour packages and adjust based on demand.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.
• Assist in resolving issues related to reservations or client inquiries.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
