Job summary

COMRISE Japan is seeking an Assistant Manager – Operations (Corporate Travel) to lead a team of Level 2 travel specialists handling complex itineraries and corporate travel requirements. The role requires hands-on Cryptic/Native GDS experience and proven team management.

You will drive team performance, ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, provide ticketing expertise, and deliver operational excellence through leadership, reporting, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of team management in a corporate travel setting.
• Hands-on with Cryptic/Native GDS and at least one other GDS platform.
• Strong ticketing knowledge for complex itineraries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of L2 travel specialists handling complex itineraries.
• Serve as a ticketing SME, providing guidance in complex cases.
• Monitor and drive team performance to meet KPIs, SLAs, and targets.
• Oversee daily operations and administrative tasks to ensure smooth processes.
• Coach and support team members to improve productivity and quality of service.
• Lead conference calls and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze operational dashboards and performance reports.
• Identify gaps, resolve escalations, and apply problem-solving strategies.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to corporate travel standards.
