Amex GBT in Manila is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote technical service for Windows, Mac OS, Office Suites, and network environments, within established SLAs. You’ll diagnose hardware and software failures, manage assets and vendors, and suggest improvements to support processes while maintaining clear documentation and strong communication.

3+ years in enterprise desktop support with hardware/software issues.
Degree in computer science or technical school preferred.
Experience with Windows, Mac OS, Office Suites, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Lead and update ticketing system within SLAs, prioritizing critical tickets and assessing impact severity to the business.
Provide on-site and remote technical service support, installation, configuration, and problem resolution in Windows, Apple/MAC, and network environments.
Diagnose hardware, software, and system failures and determine cost-effective repair resolutions.
Maintain understanding of IT hardware repair and OS management at all levels.
Identify methods to improve customer support by evaluating current processes, procedures, and technology.
Coordinate support and repair activities with third-party vendors.
