Job summary

Casto Travel Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Agent – Shared Services to support airline ticketing, settlement, and accounting operations in Cebu. The role emphasizes detail orientation, analytical skills, and timely, accurate financial processing.

Responsibilities include managing AR/AP, reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting, using Excel and ERP systems, while collaborating with airlines and travel partners. On-site graveyard shift required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in travel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle airline ticketing and settlement processes.
• Review service fees and attach TAF (Service Fee) to tickets.
• Interface daily between the GDS and Accounting System.
• Investigate discrepancies between IARC/ARC and the Accounting System.
• Prepare and balance ARC Sales Reports weekly.
• Support ARC-related activities ensuring accurate transactions.
• Download and review ADMs and validate related records in the GDS and Accounting System.
• Dispute invalid debit memos and coordinate valid ADMs with the Travel Agency Manager/Team Lead.
• Prepare management reports, supporting financial closing activities, and assist with schedule preparation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including cash application and reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable, including vendor/supplier payments and credit card reconciliations.
• Handle commission tracking and accounting data entry activities.
• Provide backup and coverage support for other accounting processes and assignments as needed.
