Job summary

Fm Global Logistics (Phil.), Inc. is seeking a Transport Coordinator for on-site work in Manila with 1–3 years of experience.

The role coordinates movement scheduling, dispatches trucks, and serves as a key link between clients, drivers, subcontractors, and accounting to ensure timely and cost-efficient transport service delivery. You will generate and maintain shipment references, monitor GPS statuses, and provide real-time updates to customers and account handlers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience is expected.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• On-site work in Manila is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive booking instructions and assign the appropriate driver/helper or subcon partner; update the daily dispatch schedule.
• Generate and maintain shipment reference numbers for all daily assigned trips, covering both owned and subcontracted trucks.
• Monitor bookings and alignments using the GPS report; provide real‑time status updates to customers, account handlers, and the Transport Supervisor.
• Collect and process every Delivery Receipt (DR) and other delivery documents; transmit on time to the accounting department for billing preparation.
• Ensure full compliance with Department SOPs at all times.
• Monitor truck condition before dispatch and ensure vehicles are in good running order.
• Ensure all customer and account handler service requirements are attended to immediately.
• Provide customers and account handlers with accurate trucking rates for their booking requirements.
• Escalate and resolve issues within the department to the Transport Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a complete and up‑to‑date database of all trucking schedules with real‑time updates.
• Attend regular department meetings and adhere to all company policies.
