Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Parañaque, Philippines, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage trucking bookings, align with operational templates, and ensure documentation is accurate for RADRAT deadlines.

You will coordinate with truckers, update shipment statuses, and back up colleagues during surges, while ensuring proper data capture and cost documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a completed 4-year course and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, data entry, and accurate typing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; good communication with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Receive and qualify booking templates from CEVA operation department and encode into CRR Cargo releasing report.
• Ensure all screened booking templates are properly encoded into CRR and booked with truckers to meet RADRAT.
• Coordinate with truckers for final booking details and provide status updates to CEVA operations or customers.
• Ensure empty containers are returned on time and milestones are visible/updated in CRR for reference.
• Act as backup to GT Coordinator and Document Assistant during surges or unavailability.
• Document and assign any unnecessary charges to accountable parties; assist in POD ageing retrieval.
• Ensure trucking KPIs are met and all POD data is captured on respective documents.
• Retain and file all data according to established standards.

Job description

To ensure that all truck requirements for IMPEX are supported to meet the Required Arrival Date and Time (RADRAT) as required by customer.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• To receive and qualify booking template from CEVA operation department prior to encoding into CRR Cargo releasing report.
• To ensure that all Booking templates that were screened and qualified are properly and promptly encoded into CRR.
• To ensure that all truck requirements are booked with the truckers to meet RADRAT and all necessary requirements needed such as TABS booking, Gate pass, ATW and other docs pertaining to the shipment are provided to the assigned transport provider.
• To coordinate with the Truckers on the final details of booking and provide status / updates of the shipment and provide to operations / customer when required.
• To ensure that empty containers are returned on time and update the operation / customer if encounter any irregularities.
• To ensure that milestones are visible / updated in CRR that will serve as future reference.
• To act as back up to other GT Coordinator in cases where in the latter is not available for whatever reason.
• To act as back up to the Document Assistant in case of unusual surges in encoding or in cases where in the Document Assistant is unavailable for whatever reason.
• To ensure that all unnecessary charges incurred by CEVA are properly documented and charged to accountable parties.
• To assist the Document assistant in the retrieval of ageing PODs.
• To ensure that all Trucking KPI are meet.
• To ensure that all files retained by the GT are properly filed and stored in accordance to established standards.
• To ensure that all data required in the PODs are properly captured by the truckers on their respective documents.
• To coordinate with the Truckers the final details of booking and to provide status update of the shipment to CEVA operations and or to customer when required.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Completed 4 yrs course.
• With at least 1-year relevant working experience
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English,
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively
• With internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Experience gained from another forwarding company or department advantage but not necessary.
