Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented Rate Data Processor to support invoicing, tariff validation, and data management. You will translate local tariff data into standardized templates, upload to CW1, and verify auto-rating outputs with requestors.

Strong accounting fundamentals and MS Office skills are essential for timely, accurate reports. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with sales, OPS, and finance to ensure accurate billing, documentation, and smooth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Familiar with Incoterms is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure Approved Quotations, OSG, Debit Notes, and SOP are in place
• Responsible for all invoicing for each activity
• Ensure accuracy of billed cost and selling items
• Report/monitor low yield accounts and negative GM
• Coordinate with sales, counterparts, and OPS for each transaction
• Provide timely reports of completed jobs
• Ensure completeness of supplier and counterpart invoices and documents
• Monitor all stages of invoicing in reports
• Monitor dispatching and collection speed
• Translate tariffs and rates into standard templates and upload into CW1 per SOP
• Ensure accurate and on-time upload of tariffs and rates
• Verify accuracy of auto-rating outputs in CW1 with the requester
• Troubleshoot and re-upload if necessary
• Propose continuous improvements in tariff/rate creation and maintenance

Job description

• Ensure Approved Quotation, OSG, Debit Note, SOP are in place
• Responsible for all invoicing or every activity performed
• Ensure accuracy of billed cost and selling items
• Report/Monitor Low Yield Account, of Negative GM
• Coordinates with sales, counterparts, and OPS for the scope of work required for each transaction
• Provide timely report of jobs done
• Ensure completeness of documentation and invoices from suppliers and counterpart
• Monitors every stage of the invoicing process in corresponding report
• Monitors dispatching and collection speed

Rate Data Processor

Validation

• Ensure that the Tariffs & Rates are being approved by Regional Autorating Validator
• Validate the structure of Tariffs & Rates provided by the local entities

Data Management

• Translate those Tariffs and Rates provided in various local formats into the standard template, upload into CW1 following SOP provided
• Responsible for accurate and on-time upload of those Tariffs and Rates in the solution
• Verify the accuracy of the output of auto rating in CW1 files with requestor
• Troubleshoot, rectify & re-upload if necessary
• Propose continuous improvement in the solution and process of creation and maintenance of tariffs and rates.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Admin/Customs or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
• Familiar with basic accounting
• Preferably 6 months to 1 year working experience financial / accounting position /Int’ Freight Forwarding/Customs Brokerage Operations
• Computer familiar
• Comfortable with numbers
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills
• Has good organization and planning capability
• Familiar with Incoterms
