The Transition Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end transition activities including knowledge transfer execution, go-live readiness and post-launch stabilization to ensure successful migration of processes into operations.
Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role enables cross-functional collaboration, drives operational readiness and ensures seamless service delivery aligned with U.S. healthcare business needs.
Lead knowledge transfer execution including shadowing, reverse shadowing and proficiency validation to ensure teams meet quality and performance standards
Review and validate process documentation such as standard operating procedures, process maps and control frameworks to ensure compliance and audit readiness
Coordinate cutover and go-live activities including access readiness, deployment alignment and stakeholder coordination
Manage post-go-live stabilization through structured hyper-care including issue triage, defect tracking and escalation management
Identify, assess and mitigate risks and dependencies using governance tools and RAID frameworks
Prepare and present transition status updates, readiness dashboards and executive-level reports to support decision-making
Collaborate with global process owners, U.S. stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment and adoption
Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing transition playbooks and standards
8–10 years of experience in transitions, migrations or shared services operations required
Knowledge of knowledge transfer models, go-live readiness and stabilization support required
Knowledge of global business services or captive center operations preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field required
Master’s degree preferred
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt – International Association for Six Sigma Certification preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) – Project Management Institute preferred
PRINCE2 Certification – AXELOS preferred
Program and workstream leadership
Knowledge of target operating model design and process controls
Governance, reporting and benefits tracking
Knowledge transfer strategy and hyper-care management
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving
Coaching mindset with focus on quality and continuous improvement
Knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR preferred
Familiarity with process mining and automation tools such as Celonis or UiPath preferred
Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
Ability to work across time zones with U.S. stakeholders
Ability to balance speed, quality and risk during live operational transitions
