Job summary

COL Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Training and Development professional to design, implement, and optimize agent onboarding and insurance-related training programs.

The role focuses on creating engaging materials, delivering sessions in-person and online, and evaluating effectiveness to drive performance. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in training, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; Canva skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in training and development, preferably in insurance.
• Experience in onboarding, insurance product training, compliance, licensing, sales training, or agency/distribution training is highly preferred.
• Experience in instructional design and training delivery is an advantage.
• Certifications such as CUSP, CIS, or CSR are preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; Canva or similar design tools a plus.
• Organized, reliable, proactive, and results-oriented, with a genuine interest in developing others.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes training programs covering agent onboarding, product knowledge, compliance, licensing, and sales techniques.
• Develops and maintains training materials, presentations, and other learning tools.
• Delivers engaging training sessions through in-person and virtual formats.
• Evaluates training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking.
• Collaborates with Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with business requirements.
• Applies basic graphic design skills to enhance training materials for clarity and engagement.
• Maintains accurate training records, attendance, and reports for monitoring and documentation.
• Supports the coordination and execution of webinars, learning sessions, and training-related events.
• Continuously improves training programs based on feedback, assessment results, and performance outcomes.
• Performs other related duties and training initiatives as assigned.
