Training Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop training programs, modules, and training materials, including presentations, handouts, icebreakers, assessments, and supporting resources.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of company policies, store procedures, and training programs.
• Continuously update training programs to align with company standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify opportunities for new and improved training programs.
• Coordinate with departments to align training content with store policies and operational practices.
• Design training programs that accommodate different learning styles.
• Prepare all training materials and equipment before each training session.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules, venues, resources, and logistics.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth training schedules and trainee endorsements.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions using various instructional methods.
• Adapt training delivery based on participants' learning styles.
• Gather and utilize trainee feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers to enhance training methods and knowledge sharing.
• Welcome and orient new hires to create a positive onboarding experience.

• Conduct store visits to evaluate training effectiveness and implementation.
• Observe store operations, including cleanliness, customer service, policy compliance, and product quality.
• Conduct customer service audits and mystery shopping activities and provide recommendations.
• Perform store immersions to better understand day‑to‑day operations.
• Coach existing employees and support new hires during store immersions.
• Develop assessment methods to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Administer examinations to measure trainee knowledge and retention.
• Facilitate role‑play activities to simulate store operations and evaluate trainee performance.
• Maintain accurate records of assessment results and role‑play ratings.
• Use assessment results and feedback to recommend improvements to training programs.
• Maintain and update the training database with accurate trainee and training information.
• Prepare month‑to‑date and year‑to‑date training reports.
• Create and distribute training certificates for completed programs.
