Job summary

Savory Fastfood Inc. in Quezon City, Metro Manila, seeks a Training Officer to design, deliver and evaluate training programs across the organisation.

You will develop materials, coordinate with external providers, and support onboarding while staying updated with best practices in learning and development. Required: Diploma or Bachelor's in HR/Education, 2–3 years in training in F&B or hospitality, and proficiency with LMS, MS Office, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Training & Development or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years in training and development, preferably F&B or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery.
• Proficient in LMS and training software; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

About the role

Savory Fastfood Inc. is seeking a dedicated Training Officer to join our Training Department team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As Training Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering training programmes that enhance employee skills, knowledge and performance across our organisation. This position is integral to building a capable, engaged workforce and supporting the strategic growth objectives of Savory Fastfood Inc.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop comprehensive training programmes tailored to the needs of different departments and employee levels

• Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and seminars to employees across the organisation

• Assess training needs by conducting interviews, surveys and consultations with department managers and staff

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback collection, assessments and performance metrics

• Maintain detailed training records and documentation for all employees and programmes

• Coordinate with external training providers and consultants when specialist expertise is required

• Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, guides and digital content

• Support the onboarding process for new employees and ensure they receive appropriate induction training

• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging training methodologies

• Collaborate with senior management to identify skills gaps and recommend targeted development initiatives

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or a related field

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry

• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery methodologies

• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software platforms

• Proven ability to design and develop training content and learning materials

• Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation

• Familiarity with performance management and employee development strategies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis

• Preferred: Experience conducting training needs analysis and experience with virtual or blended learning delivery methods
