Job summary

Swak BPO Corp in Clark Freeport Zone seeks a Training & Development Team Lead to guide a team of trainers, drive engagement, and maintain high training standards. You will partner with the Training Manager to oversee performance, coordinate operations, and ensure trainees are deployment-ready.

The role emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and cross-department collaboration to deliver effective programs, audits, schedules, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Training, Learning & Development, Coaching or related leadership role.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience facilitating training sessions and managing classroom environments.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning platforms.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Assist trainers by answering questions and providing support.
• Enforce the company's code of conduct.
• Ensure trainees are ready for deployment to production floor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Perform monthly classroom & job aid audits.
• Have coaching meetings with trainers.
• Hold weekly one-on-ones with Trainers.
• Coordinate with the Training Manager to ensure classes run smoothly and trainers have proper training.
• Facilitate classes when needed.
• Approve timecards.
• Lead team huddles.
• Issue disciplinary action when needed with Training Manager.
• Communicate with Training Manager about any issues with the team.
• Assist with coordinating schedules and RDOTS.
• Train new trainers in conjunction with the other Team Leads.
• Coordinate with Instructional Design Team to develop and test new courses.
• Ensure reports are up to date.
• Create and implement performance development plans for trainers.
