Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is seeking a Trading Tech Support Analyst to provide initial and second-line support for electronic trading platforms, ensuring smooth trade execution and platform stability. The role includes mentoring junior staff, leading improvements, and supporting critical trading operations.

The candidate will interact with traders, brokers and external clients, handle incident management, and ensure adherence to regulatory controls and risk policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting trading platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management in a technical support environment.
• Understanding of trade flows, financial markets, or trading systems.
• Experience with log analysis, XML, ServiceNow, or similar support tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, investment banking, or trading environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.
• Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Leadership or mentoring experience an advantage.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for trading platforms, including incident management, trade issue investigation, and resolution.
• Monitor system logs, outputs, and support chats to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Support software deployments, platform upgrades, and production releases
• Partner with traders, brokers, business users, and external clients to resolve operational issues
• Lead process improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members
• Work with third-party vendors and internal technology teams to support trading platforms
• Ensure compliance with operational controls, risk policies, and regulatory requirements
