Job summary

JTI Liggett is seeking a Trade Marketing Representative to drive sales and merchandising programs across a defined retail territory. The role requires planning visits, negotiating promotions, and ensuring compliant product placement.

Travel 25%–75% with frequent nights away as needed to maximize coverage and in-store impact. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (additional education welcomed), experience in CPG sales, a valid driver’s license, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; additional education preferred.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods sales is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong data handling and reporting skills.
• Solid commercial understanding and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales and merchandising programs for retail accounts to grow sales.
• Travel 25%–75% of the time; manage territory and be accountable for results.
• Plan visits and calls based on territory data and prioritization.
• Negotiate in-store promotions and ensure planogram compliance.
• Educate outlets on product placement and sales strategy.
• Monitor competitor activity and report on performance.
