Job summary

JTI Liggett is recruiting a Trade Marketing Representative to execute comprehensive sales and merchandising programs for retail accounts within a defined territory. The role focuses on increasing sales through tailored in-store activities, planning visits, and coordinating with retailers to meet objectives.

You will travel 25%–75% depending on territory and be responsible for optimizing planograms, monitoring performance, and driving customer engagement to achieve growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; additional education preferred.
• Experience in sales CPG is preferred; college graduates are welcomed.
• Valid driver's license required and reliable transportation.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid commercial understanding and excellent communication skills.
• Strong selling skills with a Double Win approach.
• Knowledge of Synergy (reporting & data).
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execution planning: determine visit frequency and plan calls to maximize impact.
• Strategic insights & business advice: analyze activity, monitor competitors, and educate outlets on best practices.
• Negotiation & selling process: negotiate short-term sell-out volumes and ensure planogram adherence.
• Logistic: merchandize stock and place top-up orders as needed.
• Performance: track objectives and record results.
• Other: manage various tasks and projects as assigned by management.
