Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Trade Marketing Lead (Channel Strategy and Development) to craft and drive channel-specific strategies that boost sales and brand visibility across channels. You will identify market trends and consumer insights, collaborating with sales and marketing to develop actionable plans that improve channel performance.

You will lead the team on channel initiatives, supervise budgets, and ensure alignment with corporate priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering.
• Preferably with Trade Marketing background.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Channel Champion and primary knowledge center of the channel within the team.
• Engage in research and studies to improve shopper understanding within the channel.
• Review company performance by channel and area; recommend interventions to address opportunities.
• Maintain a collective view of the categories within the channel to drive channel sales metrics.
• Strategy and program creation; gatekeep category activities within the channel with category strategy and fieldsales.
• Approve programs initiated by field sales to ensure alignment to company priorities.
• Lead the team consolidating all category initiatives (HO and field) and develop the execution plan by month and quarter.
• Owns company channel SMAC development and cascades plan to the Channel Execution Team.
• Develops and cascades Perfect Store Standards for the Channel.
• Perform cost analysis for channel programs and initiatives.
• Manages/approves budgets for business development/revenue generating programs.
