Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Trade Lifecycle Team Lead to oversee prime brokerage settlements and drive accurate, timely outcomes across the Asia Pacific region. You will supervise daily deliverables, perform hands-on processing, and collaborate with leadership to improve procedures, controls, and issue management.

You will contribute to projects across regions and ensure strong service quality while maintaining risk discipline, ownership, and client service mindset.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related operations.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle for equity and fixed income, including settlements and post-trade processing.
• Experience in settlements, trade management, and/or asset servicing operations.
• Ability to manage daily deliverables with accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication with stakeholders.
• Excellent organization and time management with tight deadlines.
• Control-focused mindset with understanding of risk, audits and policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Release accurate trade instructions to market and internal stakeholders within required timelines.
• Manage reopening, processing, and settlement of trades in settlement platforms and handle exceptions.
• Perform inventory and position checks and support intercompany reconciliation before settlement date.
• Monitor and improve service quality by ensuring procedures are followed and deliverables are timely.
• Partner with process lead to drive operational excellence, prioritization, escalation, and communication.
• Maintain and update written procedures and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for additional controls and process improvements for risk management.
• Investigate settlement exceptions and expedite root-cause resolution.
• Produce and share daily and weekly operational metrics for performance visibility.
