Job summary

Accenture in Manila is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Settlements Associate to support end-to-end settlement processes across front, middle, and external counterparties. You will ensure accurate matching, timely resolution of discrepancies, and proactive communication with trading desks.

Responsibilities include pre-matching, investigation of breaks, inventory management, and escalation within defined service levels, with APAC hours and occasional Indian market holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in trade settlements or trade support.
• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented approach to exceptions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict settlement deadlines.
• Clear communication with trading desks and external counterparties.
• Proficient in Excel for trade tracking and reporting.
• Willingness to work non-standard APAC hours including Indian market holidays.

About the role

Join a global capital markets operations team supporting trade settlements end to end — from pre-matching through to final settlement. You'll work daily with Front Office, Middle Office, European teams, and external counterparties, taking ownership of exceptions and keeping trades moving accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-matching and match internal trades against market and counterparty trades, keeping outstanding and aged items under control
• Investigate and resolve unmatched trades, discrepancies, and settlement breaks — identifying root causes and driving them to closure
• Manage inventory: position monitoring, stock movements, reconciliations, and booking depot transfers based on ladder positions
• Capture and process trade lifecycle events, and support claims investigations through to resolution
• Escalate and report failed trades, inventory discrepancies, and operational risks to the right stakeholders
• Act as a primary operational contact for Front Office, Middle Office, and external counterparties within agreed service levels

About you

• At least 2 years of experience in trade settlements or trade support
• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented approach to exception management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict settlement deadlines
• Clear communicator, comfortable dealing with trading desks and external counterparties

• Open to non-standard hours aligned to Asia-Pacific trading desks, including coverage on Indian market holidays
