Job summary

Mega Sardines in Metro Manila is seeking a Total Rewards Specialist to shape competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that align with business growth and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and leaders to analyze data, manage processes, and develop dashboards using advanced Excel to enhance the employee experience and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Total Rewards, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, payroll, or related HR functions.
• Finance, accounting, economics, or business background is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, dashboards).
• Experience with salary benchmarking and budgeting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across the organization.
• Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
• Perform job evaluations and support the development and maintenance of salary structures and grading systems.
• Analyze compensation, payroll, and workforce data to provide recommendations for business and HR leaders.
• Partner with Finance during budgeting, annual salary reviews, incentive planning, and manpower cost analysis.
• Manage benefits administration, government-mandated programs, and employee reward initiatives.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations using advanced Excel and HR data analytics.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and Total Rewards governance.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and employee experience.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Analytics, Payroll, Finance, or related HR functions.
• Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or other quantitative background is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret compensation and financial data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, dashboards, and data analysis).
• Experience conducting salary benchmarking, job evaluation, budgeting, or workforce cost analysis is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and presenting data-driven recommendations.
• Passionate about creating fair, competitive, and sustainable rewards programs that support business performance.
