2GO Group is seeking a Transport Coordinator in Cavite to execute truck requirements and dispatch plans for South Hub Crossdock Operations. Job Description:
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for executing the truck requirements and dispatch plan provided by the Transport Planner for South Hub Crossdock Operations. The role coordinates with accredited transport service providers to secure truck availability and booking, monitors truck deployment and arrival, and promptly troubleshoots trucker-related issues during secondary dispatch.
The Transport Coordinator works closely with the Operations Head, and Supervisor, and Transport Team to ensure all scheduled trucks are dispatched and pulled out on time, with particular focus on meeting the required dispatch target before 6:00 AM and the required Request Delivery Date (RDD).
Graduate of a 4‑year course, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferably 1–3 years of experience in transport coordination, logistics, warehouse, distribution, fleet, or related operations.
Experience coordinating with trucking companies, transport service providers, drivers, or 3PL providers is an advantage.
Experience in cross‑dock, distribution center, dispatch, or delivery operations is preferred.
Strong coordination and communication skills with transport providers and internal operations teams.
Good problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, particularly under time‑critical dispatch conditions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for monitoring, reporting, data consolidation, and operational analysis.
Knowledge of truck booking, transport planning, dispatch operations, and basic fleet management.
Ability to manage multiple truck requirements and operational priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
Good stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Ability to use or learn WMS/TMS, Meego, SAP, or other warehouse/transport applications.
