Job summary

MGEN is recruiting for a senior asset management leader to design and own the Thermal Business Unit asset management framework across head office and sites. The role drives lifecycle planning, asset risk, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement for boilers, turbines, generators, transformers, and BESS assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in power generation, asset management or reliability.
• 5+ years in leadership or governance roles.
• Experience with RCFA investigations and Maximo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the Thermal Business Unit asset management framework, including asset scope, lifecycle planning methods, governance forums, decision rights, and controls.
• Translate business objectives into measurable asset management objectives, long-term asset plans, and annual execution priorities.
• Lead the preparation and review of the Strategic Asset Management Plan for all thermal and BESS assets.
• Lead five-, ten-, and long-range lifecycle plans for major inspections, overhauls, refurbishments, replacements, upgrades, life extension, and retirement.
• Own RCFA program for MGEN Thermal and lead RCFA investigations for significant failures; coordinate outage governance and reliability improvements.
• Drive asset information governance, maintain Maximo data quality, and develop dashboards on asset health and reliability.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Energy, Industrial Engineering

Professional engineering license or equivalent

Graduate degree in Engineering Management, Asset Management, or MBA
