Semirara Mining and Power Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Asset Management & Outage Superintendent to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of asset management strategies and outage activities across our power generation facilities.

This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant assets while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and environmental compliance through data-driven decisions and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience in power plant operations & maintenance.
• At least 3 years in a leadership/management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Asset Management Plan (AMP) for generation assets.
• Oversee planned and forced outage activities, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Develop and execute maintenance planning strategies and outage schedules.
• Monitor asset performance and conduct failure analysis on critical equipment.
• Drive equipment lifecycle management, including risk assessment and replacement strategies.
• Manage work order programs and optimize routine maintenance processes.
• Ensure accuracy in spare parts, procurement requests (PR), and maintenance data.
• Lead budget planning and cost control for maintenance and outage activities.
• Provide data-driven insights on maintenance cost efficiency and asset performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and planning teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 9 direct reports.
• Ensure full compliance with EHS standards and regulations

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Asset Management & Outage Superintendent to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of asset management strategies and outage activities across our power generation facilities.

This role is critical in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant assets, while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and environmental compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
