Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Theft Prevention Officer to monitor CCTV across self-service micro markets, analyze POS data, and conduct investigations. You will document findings, escalate theft incidents, and maintain detailed case records.

This hybrid role in Pasay City offers night shifts with opportunities to contribute to loss prevention enhancements. Ideal candidates have proven loss prevention and CCTV experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent written English to prepare

• Proven experience in Loss Prevention, CCTV Monitoring, Security Investigation, Fraud Investigation, or a similar investigative role.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to review CCTV footage and accurately identify suspicious behaviors and patterns.
• Experience analyzing POS transaction data, payment records, and sales reports.
• Strong written English skills with the ability to prepare clear and accurate investigation reports.

• Monitor CCTV footage across multiple self-service micro markets to identify theft, under-ringing, unpaid transactions, and suspicious activity.
• Analyze POS transactions, payment records, and sales reports to identify theft, loss events, and transaction anomalies.
• Conduct investigations and prepare clear, accurate reports with timelines, CCTV evidence, transaction details, and findings.
• Identify repeat offenders, recurring behaviors, theft trends, payment failures, and operational risks across locations.
• Escalate confirmed theft incidents to clients and internal stakeholders based on sufficient supporting evidence.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure incidents are consistently documented in the Loss Prevention system.

Your Role

As a Theft Prevention Officer, you will:

• Monitor CCTV footage across multiple self-service micro markets to identify theft, under-ringing, unpaid transactions, and suspicious activity.
• Analyze POS transactions, payment records, and sales reports to identify theft, loss events, and transaction anomalies.
• Conduct investigations and prepare clear, accurate reports with timelines, CCTV evidence, transaction details, and findings.
• Identify repeat offenders, recurring behaviors, theft trends, payment failures, and operational risks across locations.
• Escalate confirmed theft incidents to clients and internal stakeholders based on sufficient supporting evidence.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure incidents are consistently documented in the Loss Prevention system.
• Monitor CCTV health and report camera, recording, or visibility issues that may affect investigations.
• Collaborate with Operations and management to communicate investigation findings and operational concerns.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations and contribute to continuous improvements in loss prevention procedures and reporting standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Proven experience in Loss Prevention, CCTV Monitoring, Security Investigation, Fraud Investigation, or a similar investigative role.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to review CCTV footage and accurately identify suspicious behaviors and patterns.
• Experience analyzing POS transaction data, payment records, and sales reports.
• Strong written English skills with the ability to prepare clear and accurate investigation reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, and CCTV/video management software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.

• Experience investigating theft, transaction anomalies, payment issues, or retail/e-commerce losses.
• Strong evidence-based and objective decision-making skills.
• Highly observant, organized, methodical, proactive, and self-motivated.

• Ability to identify patterns and trends from investigation data.

How Success Is Measured

• Client Escalation Accuracy: Maintain 0% false-positive client escalations, with all escalations supported by sufficient evidence and confirmed theft incidents.
• Review Productivity: Meet or exceed assigned weekly site review and investigation targets.
• Documentation Compliance: Ensure 100% of investigation reports contain complete CCTV evidence, transaction details, findings, and case documentation.
