Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines, headquartered in Lapu-Lapu City, is seeking an Electronics Technician to support PCBA testing and TBUs with strict adherence to procedures and quality checks. The role includes performing full test procedures, troubleshooting failures, and packaging/shipping boards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures.

• Perform visual inspection after rework and reassembly.
• Pack and ship boards.
• Collaborate with technicians/engineers to improve processes and quality.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
