Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to provide technical support on processes, design and quality measures for a specific product. The role emphasizes data-driven improvement and close collaboration with multiple departments in a manufacturing setting.

The candidate will handle documentation, validation, prototype testing, and ensure compliance with quality requirements while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in electronics/automotive manufacturing.
• Technical knowledge preferred.
• Material Science knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with statistical tools/software like Minitab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, ECN, drawings, datasheet and FMEA updates.
• Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for the assigned product.
• Leads sample production of new products.
• Follows up on actions, PCN, deviations with relevant departments to gather necessary data.
• Coordinates preparation and distribution of CCR.
• Coordinates with supplier as technical liaison.
• Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement.
• Participates in, coordinates and ensures completion of quality-related requirements of a product.
