Identify and analyze quality problems and suggests corrective actions. Involvement with customers regarding complaints and services. Manage Continual Improvement process (Projects and team meetings). Take part in internal audits. Write SWRs/TECOs as necessary. Provide support to production as/when necessary. Provide visual inspection training and certification for inspectors. Manage the Discrepant Work Reports system (Disposition and retention of DWRs). Provide guidance to manufacturing on discrepant material. Responsible for analysis of discrepant material (DWRs) and providing feedback to manager for continual improvement. Assist management with internal investigations, customer concerns, customer corrective actions, and internal specification review clarifications. Provide guidance in trouble shooting technical problems to get production back online with minimal impact. Provide 1st line investigation of technical problems and gather facts pertaining to the problem.
