Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, loading arms, hoses, meters, tanks and other terminal equipment for safe product handling.
• Monitor product flow, pressure, temperature, and tank levels; perform tank gauging and line-up activities.
• Identify leaks, corrosion, abnormal noises or equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Strictly comply with safety, environmental, and operational procedures including JSA and Permit to Work.
• Respond to spills, leaks, emergencies; assist firefighting and spill containment; participate in drills.
• Maintain accurate records of product transfers, tank levels, inventory, logs, and shift handovers.
• Coordinate with supervisors, control room, ship crews, drivers, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized; support inspections and continuous improvement.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, loading arms, hoses, meters, tanks, and other terminal equipment for the safe receipt, storage, loading, unloading, and transfer of petroleum products.

Monitor product flow, pressure, temperature, and tank levels, perform tank gauging and line-up activities, and ensure proper product segregation to prevent cross-contamination.

Conduct routine inspections and operational checks of terminal equipment, identify and report leaks, corrosion, abnormal noises, vibrations, and other equipment issues, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for necessary repairs or corrective actions.

Strictly comply with safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including Permit to Work, Lockout/Tagout, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements.

Respond to spills, leaks, and other emergencies; assist with firefighting and spill containment activities; and participate in emergency drills and exercises.

Maintain accurate operational records, including product transfers, tank levels, inventory, time logs, shift handovers, and incident reports.

Coordinate with supervisors, control room personnel, ship crews, truck drivers, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth terminal operations.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and support inspections, audits, training, and continuous improvement activities while safeguarding company assets.
