Job summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on depot equipment, pumps, motors, and utility systems at our Manila terminal. The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic instrumentation skills, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will inspect facilities, repair generators and fuel handling equipment, and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in terminal/industrial settings.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, welding/fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and painting is an advantage.
• Able to use common hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.
• Physically fit for hands-on maintenance work.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
• Strong awareness of HSE and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on depot equipment, pumps, motors, and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic instrumentation issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of terminal facilities to identify defects and safety hazards.
• Maintain and repair generators, pumps, valves, fire pumps, and other terminal equipment.
• Assist in maintenance of fuel loading/unloading systems.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, masonry, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Install, replace, and repair electrical components such as lights, switches, breakers, outlets, and wiring.
• Maintain water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems within the facility.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during repair activities.
• Prepare maintenance reports, inspection checklists, and work accomplishment reports.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of tools and work areas.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.
• Report defects, unsafe conditions, and corrective actions to the supervisor.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Depot Manager.

• Maintain and repair generators, pumps, valves, fire pumps, and other terminal equipment.

• Assist in the maintenance of fuel loading and unloading systems.

• Perform basic welding, fabrication, masonry, carpentry, painting, and minor structural repairs as needed.

• Install, replace, and repair electrical components such as lights, switches, circuit breakers, outlets, and wiring.

• Maintain water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems within the facility.
